A Gold Coast mansion featuring a waterfront tennis court has been voted the most iconic property listing on realestate.com.au this month, offering buyers the chance to rally, volley and unwind in style.
If the Australian Open had you dreaming of perfect serves at home, you'll love these standout properties with their very own tennis courts.

Taking top spot in the first realestate.com.au 'iconic listing' social media poll for 2026 - which asked viewers to vote on their favourite epic mansion with a tennis court - was this seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom Gold Coast showstopper at 16-18 Marseille Court, Sorrento.
As impressive as Carlos Alcaraz's final game, this 2,603sqm tropical resort estate, with 74m of prime waterfrontage, comes with its own boathouse and slipway — so your guests can arrive for a hit in style.
The floodlit tennis court takes centre stage, framed by palms and the gentle waters of Main River. And after working up a sweat, you can take a dip in the Italian glass-tiled pool or jump off your private pontoon.

The home itself is the ultimate trophy — for an undisclosed price. Designed by renowned architect John Patterson, this four-level masterpiece boasts a grand entrance and sweeping butterfly staircase leading to a luxurious mix of formal and informal living spaces, all wrapped in glass with spectacular water views. Terraces on every floor, including a 360-degree rooftop, take in panoramic Gold Coast views, plus the tennis action below.
Each of the seven opulent suites is a private retreat complete with a balcony, walk-in robe and ensuite. The master suite sanctuary has dual dressing rooms, a Botticino marble bathroom, private lounge, kitchenette and its own outdoor terrace.
An entertainer's paradise, there's also a high-end Gaggenau kitchen, billiards room and a sleek salon bar, plus a self-contained penthouse featuring a private kitchen, movie theatre and cocktail lounge for those post-match celebrations.

Agent Robert Cucio at Zed Real Estate Mermaid Beach said the home had been on and off the market for two years, with the vendors — a mature couple — now looking to downsize.
He said interest was coming predominantly from international clients and investors.
"Most of the properties on the Gold Coast at this price point are in that modern style. This is more of a classic mansion in its design and layout," he said. "It's a great home for someone that wants a statement property, something truly extravagant."
The runner-up mansions in our social poll — and their tennis courts — were equally as impressive.
In fact, one is a castle that inspired a suburb's name.
Innisfallen Castle at 14 Cherry Place, Castle Cove, on Sydney's lower North Shore, is made from sandstone quarried on site and boasts a stone circular turret on every corner.

With eight bedrooms, a self-contained guest wing, and a championship-sized tennis court set among park-like gardens, this 8,333sqm Middle Harbour estate — offered for just the second time in 120 years — could be yours for around $60 million.
If waterside tennis courts are your jam, another option is this landmark Mornington Peninsular estate at 4 Denistoun Avenue, Mount Eliza. This five-bedroom, Victorian villa-style mansion features wraparound verandahs and views across Port Phillip Bay to the Melbourne city skyline.

Listed for $15m-$16.5m, the 6,067sqm residence provides plenty of leisure options, including an infinity-edge pool and spa, a swim-up pavilion, an in-ground trampoline and, naturally, a fabulous mod-grass tennis court perfect for sunset sets.
Another runner-up in our poll was this French-inspired mansion in Brisbane's prestigious inner south, for which 'epic' seems almost an understatement.

Set on more than a hectare, 685 Musgrave Road, Robertson is prestigious, grand and lavish — like the perfect grand slam party. On the market for $25m-$30m, this luxury home offers opulent formal spaces, seven sumptuous bedrooms, an indoor heated pool, and a stunning flood-lit tennis court surrounded by European-inspired gardens.
Next month's theme of iconic homes set to be voted on will be Australia's most epic beach homes, with the winner announced in late February.
