John Aiken, the psychologist on Channel 9’s Married at First Sight Australia, and his interior designer wife, Kelly Swanson-Roe, have listed Tyneside, their impressive Willoughby East estate.
Rose Farina and Denise Woo of McGrath are marketing the property, with $5.8m guidance ahead of its March 5 auction.

Located on High St, the modernised five-bedroom, two-bathroom sandstone residence is set on 777sq m.
The two level home with four fireplaces comes with an attic.
Its curated interiors include a marble kitchen, bespoke joinery, imported chandeliers and multiple indoor-outdoor living zones.
Its gardens comes with barbecue and alfresco area, plus a pool, spa with cabana and an outdoor shower.

They purchased Tyneside after selling their prior Willoughby East home for $2.85m, having had it initially listed with $2.3m hopes.
Swanson-Roe oversaw the renovation of that Robert St property, which cost them $1.86m in 2014.
Tyneside was purchased for $2.93m in 2019 when listed for the first time in 50 years following the death of the former Australian Jockey Club vice-chairman Noel Bracks who, with his wife Ellen, had paid $25,000 for the home in 1969.

Aiken has owned the home since 2019.
