A Sydney apartment that was turned into a by-the-night rental for loved up couples to “embrace the magic of seduction” has come up for sale – complete with mirrored walls, mood lighting and sumptuous decor.
The Potts Point apartment, which currently operates as romantic accommodation known as The Lover’s Den, is listed as an “eccentric investment” opportunity and currently rents out to couples for about $300 a night.
The Ray White exclusive sale for 6/29 Orwell St is selling via Ty Demirezen of Ray White Eastern Beaches, with its listing describing the revamped and repurposed apartment as a “luxurious romantic themed accommodation” and “unmissable opportunity”.

The website describes plenty of playful surprises concealed throughout the space, “each one promising an extra dash of kink to your romantic escapade”.
Sitting in proximity to local restaurants, nightclubs and cafes the location has been highlighted in its listing campaign.
“We were planning to take the property to market even last year but it’s just growing in popularity so rapidly, the bookings just they don’t end,” Mr Demirezen said.
“It’s just off market on our website at the moment we haven’t launched it on domain and real estate just yet and when we do find the right gap we will probably take it to market, however, people can buy it today.”
Mr Demirezen said buyers will secure the entire business with the bookings, database, cleaners and furniture, separating the other properties on the site.
The accomodation rents for roughly $300 per night, Mr Demirezen said “sometimes a lot more”.
“With a standard apartment and what it would lease for on Airbnb versus what this is getting, it’s getting a 20, 30, sometimes 40 per cent premium just for what it is,” he said.
The property is guiding $680,000 to $700,000.
The home was previously listed in February 2022, with a different interior, for an undisclosed price and had previously sold for $165,000 in 2003.
