Actress Meg Ryan is getting ready to bid farewell to one of the brightest jewels in her real estate portfolio: a stunning Hamptons retreat that she has owned for just two years and has now listed for the very dazzling price of $15.25 million.
Ryan, 64, who has become almost as well known for her high-end home renovations as her romantic-comedy roles, appears poised to score a tidy profit if she finds a buyer at her current asking price, having purchased the five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom dwelling in 2024 for $13.5 million.
The property, which was built in 2016, sits on a 1.51-acre lot and is described in its listing, which was first reported by the New York Post, as an "exceptional Bridgehampton South residence [that] offers sophisticated luxury living in one of the Hamptons' most coveted locations."
"Perfectly positioned near ocean beaches, renowned restaurants, and the heart of the village, the property seamlessly combines privacy, elegance, and convenience," the listing adds.
Upon entering the dwelling, guests are greeted with classic Hamptons charm and modern luxury, offering vaulted ceilings, five fireplaces, a sunken living room, formal dining room, and an expansive chef's kitchen designed for entertaining.

The residence is packed with custom touches that reflect Ryan's personal style, including a cozy library that comes complete with its own bathroom.
Meanwhile, the primary suite is the epitome of luxury, featuring a private sitting area, steam shower, and balcony overlooking the picturesque grounds.
"The gracious primary suite offers a luxurious private retreat with tranquil views overlooking the lush grounds," the listing describes.
Moving to the main living spaces, the chef's kitchen features a stunning marble island, neutral-toned cabinetry, and state-of-the-art appliances.
Adjacent to the kitchen, there is an adorable breakfast nook with French doors that open up to the perfectly manicured grounds.
The dining area offers a much more formal area for guest entertaining, having been stylishly designed around a beautiful fireplace, while glass doors help to flood the space with natural light and offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Additional living space can be found on the lower level, which includes a large guest suite, kitchenette, secondary living area, and a fully equipped gym.

The home is also equipped with a geothermal heating and cooling system, offering an environmentally conscious approach to luxury living.
Outside, the property delivers the quintessential Hamptons lifestyle. A heated Gunite swimming pool anchors the backyard, while a covered porch with an outdoor fireplace creates an inviting setting for summer evenings.
The sprawling compound also benefits from a full-property security system, providing privacy and peace of mind.
Privacy and security were clearly top of mind when the home was designed, with a long driveway and tree-lined parcel helping to protect the dwelling from any prying eyes—a must for an actress of Ryan's level of fame.
However, it's unclear just how regularly the actress used the property, having purchased it just two years ago.
"Rarely found in such a premier location, the property also offers room for expansion, further creating the opportunity for a true legacy compound. Combining sophistication, scale, privacy, and future potential, this is an extraordinary offering in the heart of Bridgehampton South," the listing notes.
The listing comes one year after the actress successfully unloaded another renovated property in Montecito, CA, for $16.8 million—although she earned a much lower profit than she had initially hoped.

The sprawling Santa Barbara area mansion was first put on the market for $19.5 million—exactly $10 million more than Ryan had bought it for just a few years earlier, although she had made some very significant updates to it during her ownership of the home.
Ryan purchased the California property for $9.5 million in 2021 via an LLC that she has used for several of her real estate deals over the years. At the time, the property featured 6,500 square feet in five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a guesthouse.
However, by the time she listed the home, the Hollywood heavyweight had given it a complete transformation, adding two bedrooms, a half bathroom, 3,000 square feet of extra living space, three fireplaces, and a patio.
Ryan previously gushed about her love for renovation projects while speaking with Architectural Digest.
“I know it sounds crazy to most people, the idea of renovating that many houses, but I love renovating. I think it’s tied to living the actor’s life," she said.
Her son, Jack, 34, whom she shares with ex-husband Dennis Quaid, often teases his mom about her home renovation process and has even branded her work "Meg-anized."
She added, "As an actor, you are so rarely in control. You’re always saying words that someone else has given you, standing in a room that someone else has designed, to create a reality that someone else wants to see. But with decorating I am in control; it’s a chance for me to bring my vision into the world."
