The beachy lifestyle on offer in Tasmania’s top sale of the past week was a huge drawcard.
And who wouldn’t love a pool out the back, and a beach just across the road beyond the sand dunes?
Petrusma Property’s Leah Warren sold No.54 Surf Rd, Seven Mile Beach for $1.91m, setting a new record price for this Eastern Shore suburb.
Although not the vendor, Ms Warren has a personal connection to the property.
Her father, Tony Warren, built and later sold the home — but not before she grew up in it.
“It holds many happy memories,” she said.

Ms Warren said the property was popular among buyers, with some needing more than one look at it.
“The listing generated over 40 inquiries,” she said.
“Many people came back a second and a third time to view the property.
“The lucky buyer was looking at the property from the start. It was through negotiation and patience that we achieved the outcome.
“The new owners loved everything about the property.
“It suited their extended family needs: the fact it had a pool, had been renovated, and there was nothing to do.
“It is an entertainer’s delight, well located opposite the beach, and close to golf courses.
“This property ticked all the boxes for a young growing family.
“They are moving from inner city life to a seaside change with family, community and lifestyle in mind.”
