Humble and cheap: Inside the most-viewed homes across Australia

1 month ago 6

While mega-mansions, estates and beachfront gems were among the homes that had Aussies buzzing in the lead up to the new year, many of the most-viewed homes in Australia were more humble abodes.

New data has revealed the most popular properties on realestate.com.au during December 2025, with the most-viewed listing earning more than 24,000 visits.

From an architectural masterpiece in Adelaide to a 101-hectare European-inspired landmark on the edge of Brisbane, the most popular listings of the month encapsulate Australians’ love for both the unusual and the eye-catching.

Not all properties drew attention for their grandeur however, with modest brick dwellings in the suburbs and space-saving duplexes also making the top 20 most-searched homes last month as buyers looked to lock down a sale ahead of the quiet holiday period.

Less than half are in capital or major cities, with popular regional hubs across New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia drawing the most attention.
