The former boss of iconic fashion giant Chanel has sold his Queensland house in a $5m deal.
Robert Stavrides, who was the chief executive of Chanel Korea, and his wife, Sarina recently parted ways with their Gold Coast home at 16 Midshipman Court, Paradise Waters, a popular locale in Surfers Paradise.

Property records reveal the couple paid $2.153m for the property in 2014.
They are planning to stay in Paradise Waters — records show they paid $3.96m for another block in the popular locale in 2021 before embarking on a new three-level build.
The 11m-tall mansion was set to have a range of features, including a giant spiral staircase at its heart, a four-car garage in its basement, waterfront swimming pool, wine cellar, a large wooden pontoon, a lift and sunbathing deck.

The real estate listing for 16 Midshipman Court described the home as a “solid constructed single level home with European design and architecture principals”.
Russell and Bob Rollington of First National Surfers Paradise handled the sale.
The house, with more than 23m of water frontage includes four bedrooms, three bathrooms, multiple living and dining areas, a pool, and a pontoon.
“The single level design on a large 793sq m block attracted strong interest,” Mr Russell Rollington said.

“The 3.3m high ceilings and quality construction of the home was very appealing.
“Penthouse living on the ground with beautiful gardens and deep water boat mooring, offering the best of both worlds.”
Mr Stavrides is no stranger to luxury Australian property — he and his wife sold their Sydney apartment for $11.8m in 2021.
The property was on the ground-floor of a historic 1912 Point Piper mansion.
