Cricket star Chris Lynn offloads multi-million dollar beachside properties

Big-hitting cricket star Chris Lynn looks to be making an exit from the property market as he makes his mark in T20 cricket in the UK.

The 36-year-old Big Bash League (BBL) favourite has put his neighbouring Sunshine Coast holdings up for sale, just days after the federal budget announced its major tax shake-up for investors.

The two houses are in a prime position next to each other on Oceanic Dr in Bokarina — just steps from the beach.

One is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house on a 600 sqm block that he bought for $2.5m in late 2024 and currently rents out.

It was listed for lease at $1200 a week.

It comes just weeks after he tried to quietly test the market by trying to sell his luxe, six-bedroom house in the inner Brisbane suburb of Windsor.

Lynn, who is the highest run-scorer in BBL history, paid $1.7m eight years ago for the two-level home. That listing has since been removed.
