4 Pacific St, Watsons Bay, which has a $37m price tag, is the first big trophy home listing of 2026.

The first big trophy home listing of 2026 is described as ‘the ultimate in family seaside living’ and it doesn’t disappoint.

The five-bedroom, six-bathroom tri-level residence with infinity pool is right on the waterfront on a 1066sqm block at 4 Pacific St, Watsons Bay and has panoramic city and harbour views.

It’s also the first big listing for leading prestige agent Luke Hogan, who has moved from McGrath to join the Ray White Double Bay team.

He shares the plum listing with his new colleague Warren Ginsberg.

The incredible home appeared on realestate.com.au last night, and records show it’s in the hame of generous philanthropist Averil Nurick, who bought it for $22.5m in 2008.

One of the big attractions is the infinity edge pool.

Fine dining with extraordinary harbour views.

When contacted, Hogan didn’t wish to discuss the owners, though other sources advised Averil is the wife of pioneer fund manager Matthew Nurick.

Matthew was one of the directors of prominent London-based hedge fund Momentum Group.

Their son, Jonathan Nurick, is also a fund manager, having co-founded DivGro in 2019.

The home is close by Camp Cove beach, the harbour foreshore and Watsons Bay ferry.

All five bedrooms come with well-appointed ensuites and there’s open-plan living and dining on two floors opening to an outdoor deck and patio on the water.

The entertainer’s kitchen has a large stone island bench, sleek cabinetry and integrated appliances.

There’s also a rumpus room with kitchenette, gym, sauna and steam room, family cinema, upstairs and downstairs laundries, study and double garage with internal access.

Relax and enjoy.

Wake up to this!

The last big Pacific St sale and only comparable is 32A Pacific St — owned by Gee Soon Low of the billionaire Malaysian family behind well-known developer Low Yat Group — which sold for $35.5m last March.

But the Nurick residence is far superior.

The waterfront home is the second big listing of the year from Ray White Double Bay, with principal Elliott Placks and associate director Adam Reichman offering the Vaucluse home of the late Sydney restaurateur Wolfie Pizem.

When discussing that listing, Placks said the demand and inquiry for Sydney prestige homes so far this year has been good.

“Australia and Sydney is still very desirable for international buyers,” he said.

“I’m expecting to see prices stay robust.”

When asked if an interest rate rise — now widely expected next week — would impact the prestige market, he said: “The luxury property market is more impacted by the sharemarket, and that is still going strong.”
