Queensland’s home auctions have had their lowest clearance rate since June and the second-lowest since 2020, continuing a nine-week streak of poor turnout for the Sunshine State. Preliminary REA data has found Queensland’s latest clearance rate to be 25 per cent, compared to a 47 per cent clearance rate this time last year. The capital of Brisbane was one per cent lower at 24 per cent, compared to a 49 per cent clearance rate this time in 2025. Queensland’s home auctions recorded their second-lowest clearance rate since 2020 over the weekend, and the lowest since June of this year. The number is a sharp difference to the national clearance rate of 63 per cent, along with Ray White’s national clearance rate of 53 per cent.
