When REMAX approached Alex Vidal about becoming the iconic brand’s next president, the real estate industry veteran said it was impossible to say no. “It is an opportunity of a lifetime,” Vidal, who joined REMAX’s leadership team in early September, said. “As a leader, I knew that if I didn’t take this chance, I’d look back and regret it.” In addition to what he views as an incredible opportunity, Vidal said what also drew him to REMAX was the combination of this incredibly well-established franchise brand with the cloud-based Real Brokerage. The two companies first announced their proposed merger in late April, with the deal officially closing roughly four months later in late August with the creation of the combined Real REMAX Group.
