The two-level penthouse at 43 Walker Street in Billbergia’s Peake Tower, smashed the previous apartment record set in December 2025 by 41 per cent in the neighbouring Oasis Tower. Spanning 220 sqm, the property features a private rooftop garden terrace, 270-degree views, premium finishes and a private cinema. The record sale comes amid growing demand from owner-occupiers and families for larger apartments offering the space and amenity of a house, according to Billbergia. Buyer Rose Kim bought an apartment in Chatswood a few years ago as an investment, while the Rhodes penthouse was bought both for its investment value and as a family home.
