Two Sydney transport hubs that are being eyed for 12,000 new homes

Two major rezonings in Sydney’s west and northwest could pave the way for thousands of homes, with both precincts planned around major public transport links. The NSW government has finalised rezonings for Parramatta North and Cherrybrook that could enable around 12,000 homes between them — up to 10,000 beside Cherrybrook Metro and about 2000 along the Parramatta Light Rail corridor. Cherrybrook Precinct The finalised Cherrybrook Precinct rezoning will enable up to 10,000 new homes in Sydney’s northwest, including at least 560 affordable homes.
