The four-bedroom residence at 116 Rockbourne Tce, Paddington, sits on an elevated 1166 sqm block and was redesigned by architect Derek Trebilcock. Owners Sophia and Ben Cameron bought the property in 2010 and began an extensive three-year renovation. Mrs Cameron said she spent years planning how the home would accommodate the family’s different life stages, how its levels and gardens would connect, and how each room would feel. “It was really important for me to make choices that were interesting and allowed spaces to have their own identity, while still relating and flowing from one to another,” she said. “I wanted elements of surprise and interest throughout.” MORE NEWS: Flood of clicks hits city’s unlikeliest street “Beyond repair” home sells at huge 17-bidder auction How another rate rise could wipe out 72 Qld suburbs The home at 116 Rockbourne Tce, Paddington, before its transformation.
