Meg Ryan finds a buyer for $22m Hamptons mansion

The listing for the picturesque dwelling, which sits on a lush 1.5-acre parcel in Bridgehampton, NY, has now been updated to reflect that it is “pending” sale, meaning that Ryan has accepted an offer from a buyer, although the specifics about that offer are not yet known. Ryan, 64, who has become almost as well known for her high-end home renovations as her romantic-comedy roles, purchased the picturesque property for $US13.5m ($19.36) in 2024, which means she stands to earn a very tidy profit if she manages to secure a sale price close to her ask. The actor — who is best known for her work in “Sleepless in Seattle,” “You’ve Got Mail,” and “When Harry Met Sally” — is no stranger to real estate investments, having recently sold a home in Montecito, CA, for $US16.8m ($24m), more than $US6m ($8m) over the price she bought it for three years prior.
