Legendary Aussie film director Bruce Beresford’s Blue Mountains home comes to market

A Blue Mountains home owned for nearly two decades by acclaimed Australian film director Bruce Beresford, and his wife, eminent author and screenwriter Virginia Duigan has come to the market at 32 Backhouse Street, Wentworth Falls. An icon in cinema, Mr Beresford has directed more than 30 feature films, including Breaker Morant (1980), the multi-Oscar winning Driving Miss Daisy (1989), and Mao’s Last Dancer (2009). Mr Beresford and his wife have owned the home since 2007, and has a strong connection to the Blue Mountains, having lived in Springwood for much of his childhood.
