Darryn Lyons’ former home at 11 The Esplanade, Geelong is still hunting a buyer. Former Geelong mayor Darryn Lyons has slashed $2m from the price of his waterfront mansion in a fresh attempt to lure a buyer. The colourful media personality and paparazzo announced earlier this year he was quitting Australia to pursue work and travel opportunities overseas. Lyons listed two Geelong waterfront properties as part of a multimillion property shake-up but six months on is yet to land a sale. A neighbouring four-bedroom house at 1 Toorak Pde, Geelong, which he used to run his business, has also had a substantial reduction.
