"Ransom Canyon" star Josh Duhamel has officially closed on the sale of his Los Angeles home, offloading the picturesque property for $3.4 million—more than $400,000 over his asking price. Duhamel, 53, listed his longtime residence for $2.99 million on June 25. Within days, the listing was updated to reflect that the property was "pending" sale. Now, Realtor.com® has learned that the deal has officially closed at a much higher price, with Thomas Atamian of Coldwell Banker Realty representing Duhamel, while Andrew Pearce with Sotheby’s International Realty worked with the buyer. Having purchased the home for $2.7 million in 2017, the actor now walks away from the sale with an impressive profit.The closing comes amid the actor's ongoing press tour to promote the second season of his hit Netflix show, in which he stars as rugged ranch owner Staten Kirkland, a role that has become something of a case of art imitating life, Duhamel recently revealed.
