Maryland-based DRB Group plans to launch two mortgage joint ventures in January 2027 to support buyers across the DRB Homes’s expanding footprint: DRB Mortgage in partnership with Acrisure Mortgage in the East and DRB Home Loans in partnership with Alta Home Lending in the West, the company announced. The strategy is designed to align DRB’s homebuilding operations — including DRB Homes and DRB Elevate 55+ — with dedicated mortgage platforms focused on transparency, execution and customer care. For homebuilders, such captive or joint-venture mortgage structures are often used to improve contract-to-close pull-through, shorten cycle times and create a more predictable buyer experience. Ronny Salameh, president and CEO of DRB Group, appointed Matthew Wolf, senior vice president of financial services, to lead development of the mortgage strategy and partner search.
