Leading architect turned property developer Joe Adsett has officially started construction on his latest $130m boutique development in Brisbane’s inner-west. Amari Toowong overlooks the Brisbane River and will deliver 28 half- and full-floor residences. Mr Adsett said that the commencement of construction represented the culmination of several years of planning and a significant milestone for the team. “There is a unique sense of responsibility as Amari’s architect, developer and builder in ensuring the design intent is carried through every stage of delivery,” he said. Residences at Amari Toowong are priced from $3.25m. “As with all our projects, we really took a long-term view of how it will contribute sensitively to the streetscape, the skyline and the broader character of Brisbane’s inner-west. “Ultimately, Amari is a sculptural expression of riverside luxury living with its striking curves tracing the movement of water and cascading subtropical greenery blurring the lines between architecture and nature.
