A former university campus in Sydney’s southwest has been given a new lease on life, with construction beginning on 390 homes, parks and a childcare centre at Mirvac’s Kinlea community. Located approximately 30 kilometres southwest of the Sydney CBD, Mirvac has officially launched Kinlea located within the Canterbury-Bankstown suburb of Milperra. The start of civil construction has begun at the site, replacing the former Western Sydney University Milperra Campus, that is set to deliver approximately 390 homes, three public parks, open spaces and a revitalised childcare. The development will offer a combination of three-, four-and five-bedroom homes which will be designed and built by Mirvac, across freestanding, duplex and terrace housing typologies, along with a select range of one-to-two-bedroom homes.
