Western Bulldogs midfielder Tom Liberatore is set to farewell his Footscray house after it scored a $1.35m-plus sale.
Liberatore, who announced plans to stand down as the team’s vice-captain ahead of the 2026 AFL season’s March 5 start, put his period home on the market earlier in February.
The Charles Sutton and Doug Hawkins Medallist, who will remain in the Bulldogs’ extended leadership group without an official title, has lived at the three-bedroom abode with his fiance Maddy and their young son for about four years.

The residence was scheduled to be auctioned with a $1.25m-$1.35m range on Saturday but ended up selling on Thursday instead.
According to Realestate.com.au’s research arm PropTrack, 228 Victorian homes slated to go under the hammer sold prior to auction last week.
More than 1700 auctions are expected across the state this week, following a 62 per cent clearance rate last week.
Jas Stephens Real Estate director Tate Moore said Liberatore’s renovated house was bought up by a young local couple who are also diehard Bulldogs’ supporters.
Jas Stephens Real Estate director Tate Moore says the house’s new owners were won over by the amount of natural light which comes inside, plus the open-plan dining and living area.

The period home was renovated and extended by its previous owners.
Mr Moore declined to comment on the price but industry sources indicated the circa-1910 home sold for a figure above the asking range’s upper end.
“The buyers had been through it on three occasions, had fallen in love with it and said, ‘We want to secure it before auction’,” he said.
About 40 groups inspected the house and two other buyers were keen to purchase before the auction day, but the Bulldogs fans claimed the keys.

They did not realise the property was owned by Liberatore until seeing photographs displayed throughout the home.
“The two parties have not met but they might at settlement,” Mr Moore added.
Liberatore is the son of famous former Bulldog and 1990 Brownlow Medal winner Tony Liberatore.
The younger Liberatore played in the team’s 2016 Grand Final-winning side and celebrated his 250-game milestone in July 2025.
