Polly, a mortgage capital markets technology provider, announced on Tuesday that it has launched PollyOS, an operating system that combines pricing, hedging and loan trading on a single platform. The company said PollyOS brings together its artificial intelligence-powered product, pricing and eligibility engine, Polly Hedge and the reintroduction of its Loan Trading Exchange. The platform is designed to allow lenders to track loan-level margins from rate lock through settlement. The company claims that PollyOS is the only platform to “unify the full capital markets lifecycle on one data foundation,” according to a company press release. “PollyOS solves this critical legacy problem with precision, loan by loan, as it happens,” Adam Carmel, founder and CEO of Polly, said in a statement. “That depth of loan-level attribution, in real time and throughout the loan’s lifecycle, is only possible when pricing, hedging, and trading are never separate in the first place.” Polly said the platform uses a single loan record and data foundation rather than connecting separate systems for pricing, hedging and trading.
