John Travolta has opened up about surviving personal loss while retreating to his $US10m ($A15m) mansion. The Hollywood icon, who sits on a $US250m ($A370m) fortune, stepped back into semi-retirement following the deaths of his 16-year-old son Jett in 2009 and his wife Kelly Preston in 2020. The Golden Globe winner revealed how he found the strength to continue raising his daughter Ella, 26, and son Ben, 15. “Life has certainly tested me,” The 72-year-old told Italian newspaper La Repubblica. “I’m not made to remain absorbed in the darkness.
