EXCLUSIVE: Trevon Diggs Listed Texas Mansion for $4 Million Just Months Before Suffering a Concussion at His Home

1 month ago 18

Dallas Cowboys star Trevon Diggs will be missing from the football field during Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders after suffering from a mysterious injury that he sustained in an at-home accident, just months after he listed the Texas dwelling for $4 million.

The 27-year-old cornerback entered concussion protocol on Oct. 17, when the Cowboys' head coach, Brian Schottenheimer, revealed the news of Diggs' absence from the team's next NFL matchup.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Schottenheimer admitted that the team was still trying to ascertain the extent of Diggs' injuries, noting that he was unsure whether they might require hospitalization.

“We’re gathering information. I just got that information walking over from our doctors and was in meetings all morning. But it happened last night," Schottenheimer explained, according to ESPN.

The Dallas Cowboys coach added that his star player had been examined by a doctor for the NFL team earlier in the day.

"This is the NFL, and if you're unsure what's going to happen, just wait because something is going to happen," he went on. "And you deal with it, and you don't lose sleep over it. The biggest thing is just the concern for Trevon that he's OK. But seems like he is."

The coach noted that, although they will be missing one of their best players, it will not change the fact that they plan to bring their all to the game, nor will it alter their plan for the day.

“It doesn’t change. We adjust always on defense when we get into game days anyway; but no, it doesn’t change. It’s a good plan. I like the plan. We have to go out and execute the plan," he said.

"And, like I said, it’s going to come down to us going out and playing well against a really good Commanders offense. ... It doesn’t change what we’re going to do.

“It’s part of the business. It’s unfortunate. Obviously, want what’s best for Trevon and certainly am wishing him well. But, again, next man up."

Diggs' shocking injury comes just a few months after he placed his Texas abode on the market for $4 million, Realtor.com® can exclusively reveal.

The property, which was built in 1996, officially hit the market on June 27 for $4.4 million. In August, the price was lowered to $4 million.

The abode, which is located in Frisco, TX, spans 9,787 square feet and comes with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

The home surrounded by lush greenery is described as an "architectural showpiece" that blends "sleek modern design with resort-style amenities, offering the ultimate in luxury living," according to the listing.
