Australia’s swimming star couple Emma McKeon and Cody Simpson have sealed a mega payday with their Gold Coast home which is now “under offer”.
The six-time Olympic gold medallist retired with $2.4m worth of property on the Gold Coast a year ago, and now will see significantly more than that from the sale of one of those properties.

Mr Simpson, whose exes include US entertainment star Miley Cyrus, has been a pillar of support to Ms McKeon through her last Olympic campaign. The pair are among rarefied young Aussie couples managing to hold together in very public relationships.
Their jointly purchased home in Labrador was newly built for the couple, and has three bathrooms and four car spaces just 750m from the Broadwater.
Features of the “no expense spared design” include a high voided ceiling, floating staircase, glass balustrading, designer kitchen, butler’s pantry, alfresco patio, dual living zones, an 8m by 4m concrete pool, and within 5km of renowned private schools The Southport School and St Hilda’s.
